Sister Emily Walsh grew up in Saginaw, Michigan as Mary Emily Walsh. She and her twin sister, Leona, graduated from St. Mary's in Saginaw and went to college at St. Mary-of-the-Woods, Indiana. They both became nuns and dedicated their lives to the ministry of the Sisters of Providence.

Leona's Funeral
Mike took photographs of the church where Leona's funeral took place. We wish to portray the mood of beauty and light surrounding our sweet Leona's goodby.
